Tim Willis focuses his practice on strategic patent procurement, due diligence, and portfolio management for U.S. and foreign patent applications. Leveraging his diverse engineering experience, Tim assists clients in a variety of technologies including communications, information technology, electronics, aerospace, medical devices, and artificial intelligence. Tim combines his technical expertise, gained from his role as a systems engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, with his legal knowledge to develop tailored IP solutions for business leaders, engineers, and inventors alike.

Tim received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida. As an exceptional law student, Tim achieved the highest grade in seven classes, including Introduction to Intellectual Property Law. He also served as an editor for both the Business Law Review and the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy.

Prior to joining CRK, Tim worked at a well-known IP boutique law firm in southern California, where he efficiently prosecuted patent applications for notable medical device, aerospace, and software companies.
